ELECTIVES

Our new elective program offers students the opportunity to explore a variety of hands-on, real-world interests beyond core academic subjects, fostering engagement, creativity, and personal growth.

Electives are offered by availability of teachers, and interest in the course.  The course length for most electives will be 3 months.  Students will then have the option of choosing another elective, or continuing with the same elective that offers different topics in the next section.

Please see the class schedule for dates and times.

Classes are subject to change depending on availability, and interest.

Public Speaking

This class allows for students to receive specialized instruction on organizing thoughts, vocal variety, body language, and the use of visual aids. Dual-Enrollment Support

This class is for parents and students, and will be offered twice during the school year.  The format is an informative session that will help answer some of the questions concerning the dual-enrollment process through junior colleges for high school students.

Basic Christian Living*

This class provides a survey course on practical Christianity.  We will cover basic doctrine, wisdom for living in community, and begin to form the skills for cultural criticism.  Topics include confession of sin, the nature of worship, biblical masculinity and femininity, and relationships.  Following Christ is difficult, but not complicated.  This class will give students an encouraging introduction to the foundations of the gospel.
